Phosphorus, nitrogen and calcium are integral to the plant’s growth, but the micro-nutrients that the plant should pass on to the consumer (be it animal or human) are missing if farmers simply apply 3 chemical fertilizer. We are starving ourselves even when we eat the “right” foods. A more natural approach to supplying these and other nutrients is essential to human nutrition and survival. I’m sure this simple oversight in farming has led to much sickness and disease in our Western society.
